“Ask yourself, is A Poker Dealer School Worth Your Money And Time?”

Poker dealer schools offer a more or less quick and easy way to learn the style of dealing poker.

What precisely do they offer?

Is Poker Dealer School worth your money and time?

MOST IMPORTANTLY, will you get employment after you graduate?

We’ll research these answers and questions plus more!

A good poker dealer school will provide you with every bit of information you need to deal poker. The school should prepare and train you for any situation.

A good school should teach three or more major poker games…

· Texas hold-em

· Omaha (high/low)

· 7 card stud

Multiple forms and structures to each game should also be taught. They will also give you a “real hands on feel” poker room environment. Poker tables, cards and decks are standard at a poker dealer school. Schools will not only have you deal each game, but also play. When you play and deal poker, you’ll learn the games much quicker.

Depending on the poker school, the prices may vary. Schools charge between $700 and $1000 USD. Price includes: any required books, unlimited use of facilities, actual courses and a diploma.

What’s the amount of time poker dealer courses last?

It’ll depend on how fast YOU absorb information. Classes last from 80 hours to 300 hours, this depends on the school. They’ll make sure you exceed at dealing each game they teach, BEFORE they pass you. The faster you learn, the quicker you’ll pass. Poker schools can’t guarantee you a poker-dealer job. They only guarantee that when you leave their school you’ll be an efficient qualified poker dealer. Most schools have a job placement program. This usually sets you up with an audition, STILL not a guaranteed job.

Now the question is a school worth your time and money? These two simple questions may help you answer this.

Do you want a job dealing poker?

Or, do you just want to know how to deal poker?

If you want a job, and have no poker knowledge, dealer school will excel your chances of getting a poker-dealer job. Most poker rooms would prefer to see some REAL LIFE poker dealing experience too. Start in a small poker room, where job competition is light. Then move on to a larger room, once you have enough experience.

Keep in mind that some poker rooms require at least two years minimum poker dealer experience. Simplifying showing them a poker diploma they might not even consider you for the job. The possible exception is if you’re referred to the poker room directly by the school you learned how to deal poker at. This gives your “skills” some credibility and the school.

Where to look for the best dealer schools?

The “largest poker capital of the world”, Las Vegas Nevada! There are more dealer schools in Las Vegas than any other city in the world. The Vegas schools have years of experience, knowledge and provide you with the best teachers possible. California is another poker dealer school nexus. Schools there are less condensed than Vegas, but still give you some great teachers. Poker dealer schools in the European capital are less numerous than in the states. They are still high quality schools with comprehensive classes. These are great options to land that poker-dealer dream job.

If you just want to know how to deal poker, there are plenty of FREE resources that’ll help you out. They wont give you real life experience, but they will teach you a few tips and hints. These are two good start up courses about how to deal poker with great ideas.

Check out how to deal poker professionally at Poker Dealer School. Dealer Training is best selling poker dealer school on the internet. The e-course is a “home based poker dealing school” taught by a Bellagio poker dealer. It competes with the expensive traditional land based poker dealing schools.

Also see poker Poker Director Training. Director Training is a “how to” guide for poker tournament directors. If you want to know what you need to do to run a poker tournament from start to finish, then this course will teach you everything you need to know about operating and directing poker tournaments, including rules, blind schedules, paperwork and other details about operating poker tournaments.

If your not sure if poker dealing school is for you. A 52 week course to become a Certified Poker Expert is being offered. it’s created by a Group of Las Vegas Pros. Considered the Best in Poker Coaching for both Online and Offline Poker. And at the end of the 52-weeks you will be a “Certified Poker Expert!” Once you complete the course they will give you a certified Certificate of Completion just like the one below.

Finally do YOU think it’s worth it? It’s your decision to make the best choice for yourself!

"Do not labor for the food that perishes, but for the food that endures to eternal life, which the Son of Man will give to you. For on him God the Father has set his seal." (John 6:27, ESV)
